Boiled green vegetables (Horta vrasta)

 

 

INGREDIENTS

• portion of green vegetables (vlita, dandelions, rappini, swisschard)
• lemon juice
• olive oil
• Salt

METHOD

Chop the roots of the green vegetables and wash them well. They need careful washing in order to remove soil and dust. Boil them in a saucepan for around 30 minutes and serve them hot or cold with olive oil, salt and lemon juice. In some varietes vinegar goes better than lemon juice.

Serves / Yields : Depends on the portion of green vegetables you boil
